Podcast interview: How can TA stay relevant after a downturn

In this podcast interview with Shortlist, Trevor Vas spots the latest workforce trends and shares the challenges internal recruitment functions face in a down market.

“Most Talent Acquisition (TA) functions are centralised on permanent recruitment currently but this is going to change dramatically post Covid-crisis,” Trevor said.

“If you had gone without a permanent workforce and survived, then as a business owner I will be asking why do we need to reemploy? What can we do instead? And I will be looking to TA for advice. And TA needs to be able to answer that,” he added.

Listen to learn how you can elevate yourself into an advisory role and become more of a business partner who is able to help the organisation. You will also hear what differentiates the teams that stay relevant and valued in their organisation from those that struggle.
