When you search online whether it’s your ATS, LinkedIn, SEEK Talent Search database, Facebook, Google/Bing and others it is often hard to cut through all the noise out there quickly find what you are looking for. Search or sourcing is really understanding patterns (pattern recognition) and being able to retrieve the data that matches those patterns in a systematic way.

To do this it makes perfect senses to map out your searches and define all the things you can search for.  For example Job Titles, Keywords, Phrases, acronym’s/synonym’s etc… that will provide a manageable and targeted list of results.  To be more efficient complete your search plan and clearly define what you are looking for.
