Tash Gawne is the Chief People Officer for Globird Energy. GloBird is a next-gen, energy retailer, with a mission to create a sustainable future in energy. Tash joined Globird in 2024 with over 15 years’ experience in People and Culture roles across diverse industries including, retail, education and health.
Since joining, Tash has played a pivotal role in shaping Globird’s People & Culture strategy. Her comprehensive understanding and dedication to employee development have been instrumental in her contributions. As CPO she now leads the focus for organisational development, remuneration, benefits, IR/ER, culture, change, diversity and inclusion strategies.
Prior to Globird, Tash spent several years in senior P&C leadership roles at Swinburne University of Technology working across HR business partnering, talent and engagement, organisation design and business transformation. Tash loves the challenge and potential of partnering with bold and ambitious founders, CEOs, and executive teams. She thrives on turning inspiring visions into reality through her simple approach of removing the unnecessary complexity, for people and businesses.
Tash holds a Master of Business from Monash University, a bachelor’s degree in Behavioural Studies from Monash University and a postgraduate in Employee Relations from Griffith University.
