2015 APAC Candidate Experience Award Winners Announced

11 organisations from the Asia Pacific (APAC) region have been recognised for their positive recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes at the first ever 2015 APAC Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards reception held in Sydney on 25 February 2016.
The winners include technology giants Dell and Intel, as well as multinational companies such as Accenture, Barminco Ltd and Sunglass Hut (scroll down for full list).
The awards were presented by Talent Board, a non-profit organisation focused on the promotion and data benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, and the recipients were selected by a distinguished judging panel, including Gerry Crispin, chief navigator at CareerXroads, and Joseph P. Murphy, executive vice president of Shaker.
“We are thrilled to congratulate all winners for leading the way in terms of what a positive candidate experience should be and setting the benchmark of excellence for employers across the region,” said Ms Elaine Orler, Talent Board co-founder and chairman.
A total of 24 companies submitted applications for the award and they went through a selection process that included a rigorous assessment of their current hiring processes. Candidates were surveyed with over 3,000 surveys completed from Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia. The data will provide employers better insight into their recruitment process from a candidate perspective.
“Employers around the world recognise the need to provide a transparent and rewarding candidate experience and keep their candidates informed and updated throughout the process,” Ms Orler said.
“We established the APAC CandE Awards program to identify employers in the Asia-Pacific region that understand this imperative and implement the tools and strategies to nurture their candidates, treat them with respect and attract the best talent possible,” she added.
