He has practised in the field of employment and industrial law throughout his legal career and has a deep understanding of the time, cost and reputational pressures that employers and insurers face in managing workplace issues. This insight epitomises Nick’s focus on working closely with clients to provide workplace solutions that are responsive, pragmatic and commercial.
Nick acts for a diverse and growing range of longstanding clients, ranging from start-up and family-owned enterprises through to multinational and publicly listed companies, insurers, government departments and bodies, schools, hospitals, financial institutions, industry associations, medical defence organisations, building and construction companies, and professional service firms. His broad experience extends to practising in London for a major European firm.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Nick has been a visible market presence on the frontline of assisting both Health organisations, government and commercial businesses manage both the dual health and economic impacts of the crisis.
As the national workplace leader, Nick works closely with his interstate counterparts to ensure national clients can be provided with a seamless and closely integrated workplace legal service. Nick is also an active thought leader in his areas of practice, appearing regularly at major industry events and the mainstream media.
