Melbourne, Australia – 29th January 2026

The Human Collaborative is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Garbett as Managing Partner, strengthening the firm’s leadership team and expanding its advisory capability across workforce strategy, external workforce and technology-enabled operating models.

Sean joins Founder Sue Howse following many years of collaboration across the market. Their long-standing professional relationship is built on shared values, complementary experience and a mutual commitment to helping organisations better connect strategy, workforce and execution.

With more than 25 years’ global experience across workforce solutions, human capital management and technology, Sean has held senior leadership roles at Ernst & Young, ManpowerGroup and SAP Fieldglass, where he served as Global General Manager. His global expertise interlocks the core disciplines of finance, procurement, human resources, technology and business operations, to provide a unique view of how the execution of the right workforce strategy directly benefits business growth, productivity and value.

“Formalising our partnership is a natural next step,” said Sue Howse. “Sean brings a depth of experience and a perspective that strongly aligns with how we support clients to build future-ready workforce ecosystems.”

As Managing Partner, Sean will work closely with clients navigating increasing workforce complexity, helping organisations unlock strategic value through intentional workforce design, governance and technology.

This appointment reinforces The Human Collaborative’s purpose: to bring people, partners, technology and talent together to create more connected, confident and capable worlds of work.
