The Spiky Bureau is a Melbourne-based, neurodivergent-led consultancy helping organisations attract, support, and retain neurodivergent talent as a strategic advantage. We partner with HR, People & Culture and leadership teams to identify the systems, processes and everyday workplace norms that can unintentionally create barriers for neurodivergent employees.
We help organisations move beyond inaction and awareness-raising by translating lived experience, HR and global communications expertise and evidence-informed practice into tools, strategies and frameworks. We find and build systems to help fix barriers across recruitment & onboarding, communication, performance, team culture and broader employee lifecycle design. Our approach is practical, warm and direct to help you confidently translate what neuroinclusion looks like in real workplace conditions. Our goal is to bolster workplaces where neurodivergent people can contribute without unnecessary friction, burnout or masking, while strengthening psychological safety, manager confidence, retention, overall workforce performance and problem solving capabilities.
