ATC2026 Pay It Forward Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The Promoter is Australasian Talent Conference Pty Ltd ACN 121 579 833 also known as ATC Events & Media (“ATC Events & Media”) as trustee for the ATC Unit Trust ABN 12 659 624 945 (“ATC”). 

2. Competition Period

The Pay It Forward (“PIF”) promotion begins at 10:00am AEST on Monday, 17th August 2026 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday, 13th September 2026 (“Competition Period”). Entries received after this time will not be considered.

The prize draw is strictly conditional upon the Promoter’s mailing list reaching a milestone of at least 100 new email subscribers during the Competition Period. If this milestone is not reached by the end of the Competition Period, the prize will not be awarded.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Internal HR and Talent Acquisition Professionals from all Australian states and territories, aged 18 years and over, who are actively in-between employment at the time of entry and remain in-between employment at the time of the prize draw. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or any associated agencies are ineligible to enter.

4. Entry Method

A PIF entry is automatically registered when an eligible individual subscribes to ATC’s mailing list using the designated pop-up form during the Competition Period. One entry per person.  Only work email addresses are a valid entry. There is no entry fee.

5. Prize

Subject to the milestone in Section 2 being met, there is one (1) prize available: One ticket to ATC2026 (13 & 14 October 2026, Melbourne) valued at $2,500 + GST (Total $2,750 AUD).

6. Prize Draw

Once 100 work email subscribers is reached, the prize will be unlocked. ATC will announce the giveaway on ATC’s LinkedIn account, inviting internal HR and TA community to nominate a peer for a free ticket. The winner will be chosen via a random draw, ensuring all valid entries have an equal chance of winning. To be eligible to win, the chosen nominee must be actively between employment on the day of the draw. 

7. Winner Notification & Publication

The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within two (2) business days of the draw and must confirm they remain in-between employment to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days of the draw, does not claim the prize, or no longer meets the employment eligibility criteria, the Promoter may conduct a redraw on Monday, 5th October 2026. The redraw winner will be verified and notified in the same manner.

8. Prize Delivery

The winner will receive their prize via email (in the form of a digital registration) within seven (7) days of the draw. If the winner is unable to attend the 20th annual Australasian Talent Conference (ATC), the Promotor will select an alternative winner via random draw.

9. Permits

This competition does not require a trade promotion permit in the relevant Australian jurisdictions.

10. General Conditions
  1. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  2. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to validate eligibility and disqualify any entrant who is not an Internal HR, or TA professional, or who has gained employment prior to the draw.

  4. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.

  5. If the promotion cannot run as planned for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.

  6. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or prize.

  7. Personal information is collected for the purpose of the prize draw as a PIF. Personal information provided will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
