  Merril Skyring

Merril has had over thirteen years’ experience as a senior procurement professional in Australia with a broad range of experience in building a strategic sourcing function from ground up for direct and indirect spend, having built the function at both AMP and Deloitte.  More recently, she has focused on leading a team of professionals across all spend categories covering all aspects of the end to end strategic procurement process, including strategy design and implementation through to contract negotiation and performance management of subcontractors.

Merril has a proven record of making a substantial contribution to bottom line results and the delivery of quality outcomes, whilst managing change and behaviour effectively in challenging environments.  Over the years, Merril has developed and continued strong partnering relationships with senior management of internal and external stakeholders and customers.

In her role at Deloitte Merril has been a finalist for Business Woman of the Year, is a member of the Inspiring Women’s programme, and has been recognised and selected for the Top Talent programme.

Recently, Merril has worked to provide a framework for the effective management of a   contingent workforce involving contractor care, compliance, dashboard reporting to assist an increasing demand for a flexible and scalable workforce.

Merril has worked in a variety of industry sectors including welfare, police, health, finance, insurance and professional services.
