Jeremy Langhans enjoys playing in the digital marketing space for recruiting! He has a deep expertise in strategic engagement platforms (Sourcing, research, and social media) & applies his channel knowledge in attracting talent. Jeremy currently leads Global Brand and Talent Attraction for Expedia. Prior to joining Expedia, he was the program manager for Employment Brand and Channels at Starbucks. Jeremy started Social Media for Staffing at Starbucks in 2009 and in 2010 rolled out their Social Recruiting platform. He had the pleasure of owning 2 roadmaps, globally, within Talent Management at Starbucks. These included Digital & Social Media, as well as their Career Center and other major channels (i.e. LinkedIn). A good example of his work can be found @starbucksjobs on Twitter
Jeremy has consulted for companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Yahoo, and started his tenured career working at staffing agencies in the late 90’s. He views Global Brand as “just the guy who makes the final decision on how we show up in the market” and “a way to drive results through a candidate centric design methodology”. He views Talent Attraction as “the synergistic space where strategic talent sourcing / talent engagement collide” and “the experiences that create more yeses to the business”.
