The Inclusive Hiring Edit
In this session, we will explore practical ways to edit your existing talent acquisition practices, employee value proposition (EVP) and candidate experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind. This session isn’t about huge programs of work that sound great but that fall off your to-do list, this is about finding ways to create change within your existing sphere of influence. Join this session if you are keen to take small steps towards mitigating bias and creating equitable outcomes and inclusive experiences.
Gemma is the founder of ‘Workplace Edit’ – a consultancy aimed at editing organisations to genuinely work for more people so that people don’t have to edit themselves.
She’s got a list of experience and accolades including being a finalist at the LGBTI Awards (alongside the cast of Orange is the New Black!) and been on the board of Wear It Purple and Minus18 – organisations that do pivotal work in LGBTIQ+ inclusion. She was a senior executive at Medibank where she helped build a thriving and inclusive workplace and she’s since worked with organisations such as Afterpay, Linktree, Koala and approximately 30 other brands in two years through a range of gigs and collaborations
