Carrie has over 16 year’s recruitment experience working across multiple sectors and regions including the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand. In her time at Xero, the company has grown from 150 employees to over 1,500 Xero’s globally.
Being part of one the world’s fastest growing SaaS company means that Carrie and her Talent team need to keep up with the latest successful sourcing trends to ensure they are not only finding the best talent but also keeping up with the speed of a hyper growth organisation.
One of Carrie’s key focuses is to ensure Xero’s recruitment strategy is closely aligned to the business strategy. In doing this, Xero has been recognised for its efforts to stand out in the marketplace through winning recent awards such as LinkedIn’s APAC “Bring Your Employer Brand to Life”.
Xero’s approach to diversity and flexible working has meant Carrie has been able to return to work from maternity leave in a part time capacity, helping Carrie balance both a busy, global role as well as being a mum to two energetic kids!
