Session synopsis:
City of Melbourne Council uses Contingent labour across 23 different job categories from childcare to IT. Their work touches the lives of millions of residents, businesses and visitors to Australis’s most liveable City.
In 2017, the City commenced a detailed review of how they recruited and engaged their Contingent Workforce. They investigated models used by other Councils and private sector organisations around the country, and designed an innovative, staged roadmap including all categories of non-permanent workers as well as statement of work engagements.
Ravin shares the innovative approach the City took to reshaping their Contingent Talent and procurement process.
