Talent Board Announces 2016 Candidate Experience Award Winners

Talent Board, a non-profit organisation focused on the promotion and benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, has announced the winners of the second annual APAC Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards.
This programme year, 10 companies were recognised as winners for providing job seekers with positive recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes. They are:

  • CH2M
  • adidas Group
  • Informatica
  • LEGO Group
  • Intel Corporation
  • Accenture
  • Risk Management Solutions
  • Facebook
  • Commonwealth Bank
  • General Electric

“When Talent Board launched the APAC CandE Awards, we wanted to identify employers in the Asia-Pacific region who understood the need for a transparent and rewarding candidate experience – and so far, the response has been tremendous,” said Elaine Orler, Talent Board co-founder and 2016 APAC CandE Awards chairman.
“This year’s winning organisations are embracing that need, working to advance candidate experiences by treating job seekers with respect and keeping them informed throughout the process. We congratulate the winners for both raising the bar and further demonstrating how much candidate experiences matter.”
The APAC CandE Awards programme more than doubled in size year over year, with 49 participating companies and surveys from 15,334 job candidates based across Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia. In 2015, the programme designated 11 winners from 24 participating companies and 3,000 candidates surveyed.
Although the APAC CandE Awards is a competition, the programme strives to benchmark candidate experiences and highlight positive techniques, tools and technologies that can facilitate the process, as demonstrated by the winners. All participating organisations are asked to complete an in-depth evaluation of current talent acquisition processes, which includes both employer and targeted candidate surveys. Ultimately, the winners are identified through a blind data analysis based on their candidate survey scores.
The 10 award-winning organisations will be formally recognised and celebrated at receptions taking place in Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Bangalore and Delhi from 16 February to 1 March 2017. In addition, Talent Board will also host several Candidate Experience Workshops to share the research and findings from over 15,000 candidate surveys collected in the APAC region.
