OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Toll Group is undertaking a review of its Talent Acquisition (TA) function globally and will be implementing a new operating model across the company in 2020. This new role forms part of the TA leadership team and will have responsibility for developing and implementing our marketing strategy to attract the best talent across multiple platforms and channels and will co-lead/lead optimization of the candidate experience. As a primary steward of our employment brand, you’ll be responsible for building and shaping Toll’s employer reputation and externally communicating our employee value proposition (EVP) worldwide via compelling experiences and campaigns. You’ll also co-lead/lead high visibility projects and create processes that deliver a best-in-class candidate experience and showcase Toll as an employer of choice.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Employment Brand / Marketing
- Build, track, and measure strategic campaigns that tell a unified employer brand story and differentiate Toll as a great place to work – the right messages to the right people at the right place, at the right time
- Create and execute compelling enterprise-wide recruitment marketing strategy and tactics across all relevant channels and geographies with an emphasis on digital
- Develop and execute a digital strategy that infuses Toll’s employment brand into its existing social media strategies, to include Toll’s career websites
Collaboration & Relationship Building
- Collaboratively partner with Corporate Communications and Talent Acquisition / HR ensuring the Employment Brand is appropriately synced to overall Toll corporate and consumer brand positioning and business needs
Insights & Analytics / Innovation
- Craft a data story: provide meaningful insights on candidate/talent behaviour, translating successes and failures into tactics – continuously monitor and optimize ROI
- Stay up with external leading trends and lead insights to enhance/create stand-out candidate experiences to inform broader TA best practices
- Continuously identify innovative approaches to differentiate Toll as the employer of choice in our industry
EVP Activation
- Leverage Toll’s global EVP and subsequently manage planning and execution of employer brand and marketing efforts to support activation
- Play a key role in empowering and enabling employees, recruiters and business leaders to share their Toll employer brand stories with prospective Toll talent across all relevant channels
Enable Talent Acquisition
- Enable TA team with content and toolkits that foster better candidate engagement and experiences – content should be easily sharable via email, social, text, etc.
Candidate Experience
- Be the evangelist for the candidate experience, continuously helping to drive a candidate centric approach and improving the candidate journey.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
- Effectiveness of employment branding campaigns and projects
- To deliver new initiatives i.e. Toll careers website within agreed timeframes & budget
- Demonstrate the Toll values
- Performance of any external vendors utilised
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
Technical
- Has led a Talent Acquisition Employment Branding function either in an in-house function or RPO
- Has created and delivered an Employment Brand strategy previously for a large global corporate or via a consulting firm
- In-depth knowledge of full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
- Excellent understanding of social and digital media platforms, including their respective strengths and audiences
- Experience creating, implementing and executing marketing initiatives that produce engaging, emotional and brand relevant recruiting content
- Demonstrated ability to use data analysis, benchmarking and other user testing to make sound content decisions
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
Business
- Your communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills have impact with all audiences
- Commercial acumen/skills – you can read and interpret financial data
- Good overall knowledge of the TA industry and client markets
- Excellent problem-solving skills – you think practically and logically

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Tertiary: Undergraduate qualifications in Business/Marketing and/or similar.
Professional: Over 10 years working experience in Employment Brand related roles.
Other: Experience working in the transport & logistics industry will be highly valued
Computer Literacy: Strong MS Office, expertise in PowerPoint design.
