My Journey To SourceCon

View part two, three, four and five
I’ve just embarked on my 26 hour journey to SourceCon, and I must admit, I’m regretting my alliance to Virgin Airlines – which has left me taking the “scenic route” to Denver; via Sydney, Los Angles and Salt Lake City. Oh boy. Pass me another red wine with Ambien please.
Although I’m not looking forward these flights, I can’t wait to connect with Matt Tortorici, Derek Zeller and Matt Charney, and finding out all the WOW we can expect from them when they visit us in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland for #SST2014 in November.
I’m also looking forward to seeing Jeremy Roberts (thanks for the inviting me down up Jeremy!), my good friend Glen Cathey, and all of those presenting and attending, so we can share what cool and innovative things we’re doing in the sourcing and social recruitment space. I’ll do my best to absorb it all, and share the best sourcing and social recruiting practices around with you all at #SST2014.
Jeremy and co have invited me to present at SourceCon this year -which is a huge honour -and I hope I can do you all proud. I’ll be discussing “Optimising Your Sourcing Strategy By Building A Mind Map’ and those of you who weren’t able to make the trip to Denver can follow all the action on twitter, by following the #sourcecon and #SST2014 hash tags.
To all the recruitment leaders in Australian and New Zealand -if you haven’t signed up your teams to attend @ATCevent Sourcing.Social.Talent – tomorrow is the last day you can get them a ticket at our early bird rates. They’ll learn how the worlds best sourcers and social recruiters are rocking the world of recruitment.
I will share more on my journey to SourceCon on the next leg of my journey. 2 hours down, 24 hours to go. Wish me luck!
