  Mike Bailen

Mike Bailen is the Director of Recruiting at Eventbrite. Never a fan of the status quo, he is constantly looking for new and creative ways to efficiently hire the best talent. His goal is to make his team more proactive every single day and deliver high-touch candidate experiences.

Mike is also the former Head of Talent at Zappos where he built out their college internship program and led their recruitment strategy. He moved Zappos from a conventional recruitment model to a more proactive and relationship-driven model by taking down job postings.

Although Mike loves to geek out on a recruitment funnel report, his true love is his beautiful wife, son and their 3 dogs. Mike resides in San Francisco, California and is fueled by several cups of coffee.
