Kate Donovan

President Global RPO, ManpowerGroup Solutions

Kate Donovan is the senior vice president for ManpowerGroup Solutions in North America, which includes Recruitment Process Outsourcing RPO and TAPFIN (Managed Service Provider) divisions. She is also the global RPO president.

Under Donovan’s leadership, ManpowerGroup Solutions RPO earned the designation of global leader from industry analyst Everest Research Group and was ranked first in the industry by analyst NelsonHall for the past four consecutive years. TAPFIN won industry accolades as the largest vendor neutral MSP provider. Donovan was named an HRO Superstar by the Human Resources Outsourcing Association. She writes for industry publications and speaks frequently on the topic of global workforce trends and recruiting best practices. Since 2014, Donovan has been a sponsor on the CandE Council for the Candidate Experience Awards. In 2015, she won a Silver Stevie Award for Female Business Executive of the Year.

Before joining ManpowerGroup in 2008, Donovan was a senior vice president at Veritude, a Fidelity Investments company specializing in recruiting and HR consulting, where she led its entree into recruitment process outsourcing. Prior to working with Veritude, Donovan managed her own consulting firm, advising clients on ways to deliver HR services effectively through outsourcing strategies. Donovan spent several years with BankBoston, ultimately leading HR for its investment and global banking business groups.

She is vice chairman of the Board of Trustees for the New England College of Business, a private, on-line college located in Boston. In 2013, she was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts to serve on a task force led by former Attorney General Scott Harshbarger to address hiring and promotional processes within the state’s court system. Donovan earned degrees with academic distinction from Boston University (M.S.) and from the College of the Holy Cross (B.A.). She resides in Boston, MA with her husband and two children.
