With the tools and knowledge that we have today, it’s easier to identify candidates online. Yet the real challenge is making the time to develop and execute a sourcing strategy so that we can quickly identify these individuals.

This means not relying solely on job boards and traditional methods of recruitment, but rather developing and executing sophisticated sourcing strategies that will set you apart from your competitors and impress your clients.

Participants were about to join Sourcing Thought Leaders Glen Cathey (Boolean Blackbelt), Martin Warren (Principal Consultant, Insidejob) and Greg Savage (CEO, Firebrand) in a series of workshops as they demonstrated state of the art sourcing techniques.

You could learn tactics and methodologies that would allow you to gain greater business and establish a true partnership.

Attendees could learn how to: 

  • Become a strategic partner by selling the value of your services to corporate recruitment leaders;
  • Develop and present visual Sourcing Mind Maps demonstrating your in-depth knowledge and reach within targeted markets;
  • Locate and leverage candidates on professional and social network channels such as LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Facebook and others that your clients cannot;
  • Use channels such as LinkedIn to gain competitive intelligence and prospects for clients and business development; and
  • Establish key time management best practices for sourcing vs. engaging critical talent.

Attendees who participated in this workshop event were exposed to effective sourcing strategies that could provide competitive advantage and delight their clients.
