Finding the future: fresh new ways to source, develop and retain talent
Entering its second year, the Australasian Talent Conference (ATC) is an annual talent management forum that provides recruitment and HR professionals with the opportunity to discuss and learn about leading edge recruitment and staffing functions that will transform their organisation into a competitive and innovative employer.
If we are facing a ‘skills crisis’, why do some organisations seem to be affected, while others continue to attract the best and brightest? If there is a ‘war for talent’, why do some appear to be winning, while others are fighting a losing battle?
Do these winners have a stronger brand, superior talent strategies, better skilled recruitment and HR staff, or smarter use of technology? The answer is yes, they will have all of these in some degree. The companies who are coming out on top in a tight labour market haven’t got there by chance, but through innovative practices underpinned by a strategic vision.
ATC 2008 will provide you with unique insights into what the most successful companies are doing to source, develop and retain talent, and how these can be applied in your own organisation.
Designed to meet the needs and interests of Internal Recruitment, Senior HR and Recruitment Professionals, the program is packed with world-class speakers from the US, UK and leading Australian and New Zealand organisations. They will share with you their own personal experiences in developing a talent strategy that addresses the challenges of today – and the demands of tomorrow.
The focus is on practical solutions and tangible take-aways that you can use to optimise your talent strategy, while giving the HR function visibility and recognition for increasing business performance.
We have been delighted to learn that a number of organisations used the learnings of the 2007 ATC event to improve their recruitment practices, and are fortunate to have several of them speak at this year’s event.
We encourage you to attend this unique event to gain new knowledge and confirm that your existing strategies and networks are up to the challenges of the 21st century.

Fees for the pre-conference workshop are in addition to the conference registration fees.
Day 2 & 3 will include two full days of keynote speakers, general sessions, breakout sessions and sponsored networking sessions – all lead by talent management experts. Exhibitors with the latest tools, products and services will be accessible throughout the two days. An awards dinner as well as networking events and activities are also held over the course of the 3 days.
